Terms of Service
These terms govern use of Bitter, including the local CLI, hosted backstage workcells, deployment surfaces, logs, account services, and related connected products.
Service
Bitter provides tools for AI-assisted software work. The local CLI can run without a hosted account. Connected services may add identity, credential custody, hosted execution, deployment, billing, logs, and review surfaces.
Accounts And Access
You are responsible for maintaining access to your account and for actions taken through your account, devices, credentials, workcells, and deployment grants. You must not attempt to use an app, service, credential, or workspace you are not authorized to access.
Hosted Work And Deployments
Hosted terminals and agents may modify code, run commands, create logs, and trigger deployments when authorized. You are responsible for reviewing work, setting safe boundaries, and confirming production changes where confirmation is required.
External Services
Bitter may help connect domains, analytics, payments, identity providers, repositories, model providers, or other external services. Those services are governed by their own terms. Do not provide credentials or grants unless you have authority to use them.
Acceptable Use
Do not use Bitter to attack systems, bypass access controls, exfiltrate data, violate law, infringe rights, abuse infrastructure, or operate unsafe workloads. We may suspend or restrict access to protect the service or others.
No Warranty
Bitter is provided as-is and may change as the product evolves. We aim for reliable, reviewable workflows, but you should keep your own backups, review critical changes, and use appropriate safeguards for production systems.
